Character Name: Chloe Bourgeois
Canon: Miraculous Ladybug
Canon Point: End of season 4
Age: 15
Height: 5'1
Season: Spring
Flower: Bee Balm
Network UN: goldenqueen

About: Chloe comes across as the typical snooty rich girl bully. And she is that. But it covers a deep insecurity and a desperate need for literally any type of genuine validation that her existence is worth something, thanks her emotionally abusive mother and enabling father. Chloe isn't a good person, and certainly not nice, but she has a strong knack for superheroics that point to a strong desire to do something good.

Other: It is NOT easy to get Queen Bee = Chloe just on basic interaction. Queen Bee DOES have a glamour that makes it very hard to connect one to the other. How effective the glamour is CAN vary person to person, but generally, it takes pretty hard evidence for someone to put the pieces together on their own and feel certain about it. (For example, Adrien and Alya and Marinette have all talked to each while detransformed, but unable to see, and the other person could not recognize the voice as their friend and only the hero.) So it shouldn't be assumed your character knows Queen Bee = Chloe without confirming with me.

Canon:
Normal:
-8 years of formal ballet training.
-Unclear amount of Savate training. (Based upon the fact few new Miraculous users display strong martial arts technique and most who do are confirmed to do so as civilian, so Chloe displaying solid technique implies civilian knowledge. But between that and the ballet, girl has a hell of a kick.)
-Iron will. If Chloe has decided to do something, its truly hard to shake. One of the few to outright resist an Akumatization and stands out as being the only one to do so where self preservation wasn't a factor.
-Cool head in danger. Girl has and will continue to mouth off to supervillains who can flatten her like a pancake. She isn't unflappable, but her threshold is high.
-Exemplary situational awareness. She does need to be paying attention, and she often chooses not to, but she's actually great as tracking chaos around her.
-Surprisingly clever. There are few people who can keep up with Ladybug's frankly insane Rube Goldberg plans without handholding, let alone come up with one. Chloe is one of them.
-Great at selfies.
-Is a normal teenage girl.

Queen Bee:
-Venom. The main superpower. Venom is a sting that paralyzes a person into perfect inaction. They can't move, they can't perceive, they can't think. For them, they would be stung, and the next moment they would know is when it wears off after a few minutes.
-Transformation. She is a magical girl complete with a transformation sequence.
-Glamour. As said before, the glamour makes it difficult to figure out Queen Bee = Chloe. People can remember things about Queen Bee, like she's blonde and has blue eyes, but she could just be ANY blonde with blue eyes. Without hard evidence, there is always that sense of doubt in one's own conclusion.
-Enhanced abilities. Faster, stronger, more agile, more durable. Girl tried to stop a top speed subway and while she couldn't stop the subway, she wasn't phased at all while skidding across the tracks and braced against it. Throw her across town, she'll bounce back up.
-Supersuit. Nearly impossible to damage, always fresh with every transformation, and changes depending on one's self perception, which can lead to the outfit changing over time, or potentially changed on purpose if one focuses hard enough. She doesn't know about this changing aspect.
-Indestructible Miraculous. The Bee Miraculous can't be destroyed except by EXTREMELY potent and damaging magic. Think could fuck up reality levels.
-Indestructible weapon. Her top and its string cannot be broken, not without Shenanigans. It could potentially cut through thick solid steel poles. The string is also infinite.
-Top Travel. She can use her top and string as a grapple to get to higher places faster, and she can also use the Top to spin across the ground and travel even faster than she can run.
-Multi-tool weapon. The Top also has apps. Basically. And tools. The top can provide a tracking device, it can act as a communicator, a rebreather, access the internet, and hack files. Why? Well, we'll get to that.
-Powers ups. Using a magic potion can allow the user to power up to a more environmentally adapted form. There is a form for Water, Ice, Space, and Fire. There are also three other forms for a total of seven. What are they? WHO CAN SAY, we've known about these power ups since SEASON TWO and only seen three on screen. The fire one is word of god. Chloe cannot make these on her own, but is aware there is something and Pollen does know what they are. (She'll probably be using Wishing Stars for them.)

Pollen
-She is Chloe's kwami. She is a necessary component for transformation.
-Intangible. Unless something is magically protected, she can go through it.
-Cannot be perceived by technology unless she chooses to be. Cameras, recordings, microphones, none of them works unless she chooses to be perceived by the machine.
-Venom. She can also use Venom. She generally doesn't because she can't control the output and it could do things like, you know, cause an entire city to become paralyzed for an unknown amount of time. In seasons, this is nerfed to merely an Extremely Inconvenient Amount versus a Disastrous amount.
-Is the very embodiment of Action of her home universe and cannot be killed (thought she can be turned to stone for a while in Seasons. As a treat.)
-Miraculous communication. Pollen's connection to the Miraculous isn't tied to her life, it is what allows her to manifest to talk to humans. Even if the Miraculous is destroyed, Pollen is fine. If the Miraculous is damaged, it can mess up her perception and ability to communicate effectively with humans.
-Miraculous control. Anyone who holds the Bee Miraculous and knows Pollen's name is capable of commanding her to do anything, save a few things with safeguards. Pollen cannot reveal the identity of her user or previous users. She also cannot be compelled to use her powers on her own (headcanon that, but it seems a thing the Guardians would do considering the disasters that happen).

Limitations:
-Five(ish) minutes after power activation. Once Chloe uses Venom, a five minute timer starts before she's forcibly transformed. This timer has absolutely been inconsistent, so it can be pushed A BIT, but basically her time is Highly Limited.
-Child Safeguards. The Miraculous has safeguards in place for child users. The one use and time limit is one. This is done since the child may not be mentally or physically prepared to handle the power of the Miraculous. Breaking these safeguards are possible, but if done TOO early, it can lead to backlash with the magic.
-When is someone no longer a child? UNCLEAR. Adrien and Marinette just will themselves into it despite it killing Shady Bug and Claw Noir just some weeks earlier when they should be the same age. Chloe is old enough to potentially reach adult stage, but its like a mix of physical and mental maturity and being used to using magic probably helps. But after the safeguards...

-Limits Are Perceived. A lot of the Miraculous ability is dependent on the perception of the one using the Miraculous. Chloe's Top has multiple tools because she BELIEVES it could have those tools. The limits for a Miraculous user are only limited by what they believe they can do. So general things what users THINK a superhero should have, well, now the weapons are utility belts. Now there is a limit in that when you get beyond very general abilities that all Miraculous users are capable of having, the abilities must be within the realm of the kwami's concept. These boundaries should not be pushed too much or it can cause damage to the Miraculous and cause backlash to the user.

Action
The Bee Miraculous and Pollen's concept is Action. Venom is based on taking away one's ability to act. Now what else does Action do?

Man, I don't know, Action is a WEIRD one to define. It certainly has to be an Action! What is an Action that isn't like literally everything that is some kind of verb?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My running idea is mostly movement (and being able to perceive), so Chloe might get things like basically Haste and Slow and Stop. I've had people hit me with the idea bat when it comes to weird concept power bullshit, so we'll see what happens and what will be fun.
